The session will address key strategies for teaching films from an egalitarian perspective, as well as the ways in which teaching materials can either support or hinder the development of critical intercultural awareness in the classroom. Led by Natalia Contreras de la Llave (Universidad de Alicante). Organised by The Film in Language Teaching Association (FILTA), in collaboration with the Film, Languages and Media in Education group (FLAME) at Manchester Metropolitan University.
