Alice joined SCILT in August 2013 as Administrative Assistant, before becoming Projects Assistant in 2018 and progressing to Senior Project and Events Coordinator in 2024.
Alice provides comprehensive support for SCILT’s core professional learning programmes and activities. She oversees the professional services aspect of various projects and manages a small administrative team. Additionally, she works with the Information Team to share language-related news and events through social media and SCILT’s biannual newsletter.
Alice graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in English Language and Literature, including one year of French language studies. Alice's previous experience is primarily in the private sector, where she worked in multilingual recruitment and translation management.
Alice is an experienced swing dance teacher and has tutored English to learners at National 5 and Higher levels. She is currently taking classes in Spanish and Mandarin.
