Hi I'm Flora. I am currently in sixth year and have just finished my higher exams. This year I am doing Advanced Higher French and Art, and Higher Politics as well. After school I really hope to go on to university in Scotland and study French alongside Politics. Aside from learning languages I love to travel to different countries and play volleyball in a national league. My favourite holiday destination was Stockholm as I love the outdoor lifestyle.
Where does your interest in languages come from?
I have been interested in languages for about as long as I can remember. Ultimately my passion from languages comes from the positive experiences I have had throughout school. Having enthusiastic and engaging language teachers throughout my time at school has shaped my passion for languages and has driven me to pursue this interest.
What do you hope to gain from the internship?
Through this internship I hope to learn more about the way social media can influence people to learn and the styles of media that are most influential. Additionally, being surrounded by other passionate language learners is something I hope will further my understanding of different languages I have never been taught before.
