Hi I'm Karlie. I'm currently a 6th year pupil studying Advanced Higher English, Advanced Higher Spanish, Higher Politics and Baking & Barista. After leaving school next year I'm hoping to keep studying languages at uni so that I can (hopefully) become a translator/interpreter.
Where does your interest in languages come from?
My passion for languages comes from being fascinated by foreign media and having a genuine curiosity for other peoples cultures and way of life and wanting to communicate and understand that on a deeper level.
What do you hope to gain from the internship?
I'm excited at the prospect of honing in on my language skills and sharing my passion with other people and demonstrating to young people that languages can take you anywhere in life. I also hope to gain more experience working in and around the online world promoting languages and cultures.
