"I was inspired by my French teacher to take up SCILT’s Digital Internship opportunity. SCILT offer this every year. I didn’t know exactly what I was getting into, but after completing the recruitment process, I was more than delighted to be chosen to be a 2023-24 intern!
"I remember being nervous for the first training day, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, my nerves were quickly forgotten after meeting the other interns for the first time and making an immediate connection with each of them, especially during the lunch hour and our group-work tasks. Our aim as Digital Interns is to promote language learning to 15-18 year olds on social media. As a team, we have chosen to use Instagram and TikTok to achieve this goal.
"We collaborate and communicate greatly as a team and have a variety of languages between us, and we each learn from one another through our unique and individual posts. Being an intern for SCILT has been an unforgettable experience so far, and I’m so excited to see where our journey as interns takes us."
