Our interns

Following a competitive selection process, we have seven S6 students from across Scotland taking part in SCILT’s 2021-22 Digital Internship programme. Their remit is to engage 15-18 years olds with language learning through social media.

This will be the third time the internship programme has taken place, with previous cohorts having received training from the SCILT communications team, the Marketing team from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Strathclyde and from RadioLingua. Interns are supported by the SCILT communications team throughout their internship to collaborate to produce regular, engaging content. Check out their accounts on Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.

Meet our team of interns joining us for the 2021-22 academic session. Find out more about them in their profiles below.

Why not visit @langueyou, the Instagram account of the 2020-21 digital interns. We first ran this project as a pilot in 2018-19. You can see the content these digital interns produced on the Speak Lingua instagram page and Twitter profile.
