Alina joined SCILT in February 2024 as an Administrative Assistant. Her background is in marketing, graphic design, and communications.
While supporting a range of language-learning initiatives, one of Alina’s primary responsibilities at SCILT is coordinating Euroquiz, a national competition that brings together primary learners from across Scotland to deepen their knowledge of Europe.
Alina facilitates projects that foster multilingualism and creativity, especially among young learners. One such initiative is Sustainable Designs for Living and Learning, a three-year research project that brings together researchers, local artists, teachers, Learning for Sustainability stakeholders, and primary school pupils.
Alina speaks 5 languages and is now studying a new one. Beyond her professional pursuits, Alina enjoys oil painting, cycling, and running.
