Emily joined Scotland’s National Centre for Languages in November 2025 as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to joining the SCILT team, Emily joined the University of Strathclyde in December 2023 as a Modern Apprentice for the Department of Social Work and Social Policy (SWSP) and the Children and Young People’s Centre for Justice (CYCJ), working towards a SVQ Level 3 qualification in Administration and Business.
Following this, Emily has applied her newly developed skills and knowledge in administration and business to her role at SCILT. She is delighted to be part of the team and looks forward to learning more about all aspects of languages, as well as progressing her career in administration and business. Emily is bilingual, but she is currently working on improving her Cantonese, as it has become extremely rusty since her younger years.
