The Alliance Française in Glasgow is participating in La Nuit des Idées hosting Speak up! a debating competition in French between teams of students from the University of Strathclyde and University of Glasgow.

The debate will be followed by a screening of ''La lutte est une fin”. At the end of the screening, a jury will select the winning team on the basis of language level, arguments and public speaking skills.

• Les luttes d’aujourd’hui sont toujours celles d’hier
• Le sport, c’est la guerre
  

The event is free to attend but registration is required as spaces are limited.
