The attached Call for Expressions of Interest is for a proposed edited volume, Local Languages, Global Classrooms: Teacher Learning and Multilingual Innovation in Primary Education, currently under consideration by Palgrave Macmillan.
This international volume will examine how teachers, teacher educators, and communities are responding to increasingly multilingual primary classrooms, with particular attention to professional learning, policy enactment, inclusion, and innovative pedagogies. We are especially keen to include contributions that bridge research, policy, and classroom practice across diverse contexts.
At this stage, short Expressions of Interest (approximately 200 words) are invited to help shape the conceptual scope, thematic balance, and international representation of the volume prior to formal publisher approval. Contributions may be empirical, conceptual, theoretical, or practice-oriented. We would particularly welcome submissions from a wide range of geographical contexts and professional perspectives.
