Across the week there are a total of fourteen webinars. Excitingly, three webinars have a languages focus, and SCILT is delighted to be hosting two of them.

Learn about culture in the Japanese workplace and the advantages learning Japanese can provide, along with hearing from the Japanese Consulate about career opportunities for Japanese speakers.

Wednesday 13 May, 9:30 – 10:15 Make your languages work for you! (P5-P7)
An interactive pupil workshop from the primary team at SCILT. Pupils will explore how communication skills in all their languages are useful in community spaces and future workplaces.

Thursday 14 May, 14:00 – 14:45 Languages: The Advantage You Didn’t Know You Had! (S1-S3)
In this interactive webinar by SCILT we will explore the fun, transferable employability skills associated with languages. Examine together how these are valuable assets in any learner’s choices and look at some of the (perhaps surprising!) career pathways that they can lead you to.
