SCILT’s home at The Ramshorn, University of Strathclyde is celebrating 200 years since the building’s completion in 1826! To mark the occasion we are hosting a series of talks about the history of the building and surrounding graveyard.
After kicking off the series with an event focusing on the Ramshorn Theatre, as part of Glasgow Doors Open Days, bookings are now open for two more talks in the series:
- Graveyard tour and Hallow Tide talk with Friends of the Ramshorn Graveyard and Lorraine Murray - 14.00-17.00, Sunday 1 November
- No stone unturned with Paul Noble - 18.00-20.00, Wednesday 18 November
All events are free to attend, book your spot via the Eventbrite page.
Share your photos and memories
As part of the celebrations we have also launched a photo and memory appeal! Can you share anything with us from when the building was a theatre, or even when it was a church? Get in touch via our contact form if you have something you are happy to share. We would love to hear from you!
