Ten Dunfermline pupils are being offered the chance to head to China next summer, following in the footsteps of schoolmates who described their trip as the "experience of a lifetime".
Current S4 and S5 pupils at Queen Anne High School can apply for 10 places on an immersion programme in Tianjin in July 2027.
The programme, run with the Confucius Institute for Scotland’s Schools (CISS), combines Mandarin lessons with Chinese culture and sightseeing.
It is expected to include around 10 days in Tianjin as well as a visit to Beijing, although the exact dates and length of the 2027 trip are still to be confirmed.
And pupils considering taking the plunge can look to 10 Queen Anne youngsters who travelled to China last summer to see what the experience could involve.
