The Goethe-Institut Glasgow is delighted to offer a science workshop in German. It is aimed at secondary school pupils who have been studying German for at least 3 years.
The workshop promotes the concept of STEM teaching combined with German and links to core subjects which are part of the curricula in Northwestern Europe. It informs students about the recent research projects of German scientists, showcases future prospects and focuses on the topic of studying in Germany.
The workshop takes about 1.5 hours during which the students are involved in different experiments (4 scientists will work with 5 students each). Separated into small groups (speed-dating principle), they learn about new experiments and simultaneously study the German language.
