Since 1982, every 21st of June, the crowds flow into the streets to enjoy free musical celebrations. La Fête de la Musique started in France and is now celebrated worldwide. This year, we unfortunately cannot welcome French musical bands to perform live in our spaces. Instead, the Institut français in Edinburgh welcomes you to experience music through the documentary Africa Mia. The documentary is screened in French with English subtitles.
Admission free for everyone but booking in advance is mandatory! Please note that wearing a face-covering is compulsory in the cinema.
