Event Date: 02/09/2021 19:00 - 20:30

Join German teachers of the Deutsch Centre International to discover recent developments around gender-inclusive language in teaching.

Language learning is closely linked to identity, especially when you are asking your students to talk about themselves, express their interests and relationships to others. Above and beyond the official norms of German usage, there are a number of more gender-inclusive ways of using the language.

Join us for an online panel discussion held by German teachers of the Deutsch Centre International. We are hoping to share knowledge about latest research and recent developments in German everyday language. We also aim to highlight it’s relevance to language teaching and consider future efforts to raise gender-consciousness in lessons.
