The conference will be held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Borut Pahor. It is be organized by the Confucius Institute at the Faculty of Economics University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade (China).
Co-organizers of the conference are also: Beijing Foreign Studies University (China), Confucius Institute Vienna (Austria), Confucius Institute Budapest (Hungary), Confucius Institute Szeged (Hungary), Confucius Institute Opole (Poland) and Confucius Institute Zagreb (Croatia). The conference will also take place in collaboration with the Embassy of the Peoples' Republic of China in Ljubljana.
"The overall mission of this conference is to promote a wide mutual understanding and to enhance cultural, educational, research and economic collaboration between China and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) countries."
