Venue: Online
Visit website

Event Date: 04/11/2021 16:30 - 18:00

Climate change is one of the key challenges of our times and we all see its effects on the planet on a daily basis. Across the world, climate activists do their utmost to protect the environment and raise awareness of the issues, but many of them are threatened precisely because they try to protect the planet!

Join us for the screening of Sangterra, a documentary portraying climate activists from various countries who keep fighting for the planet despite the threat on their lives. While the documentary will be in English, it will also be subtitled in French and followed by a Q&A in both languages with Belgian producer, Christophe Smets.

Suitable for secondary learners in S5/6, students in Higher Education and the wider public, it offers linguistic as well as cultural and awareness-raising opportunities.

Visit the website to find out more and to register for the free event by Tuesday 2 November 2021.
