With COP26 around the corner people around the world find themselves reflecting on the challenges facing our shared home. This past September, primary students from twelve primaries across Scotland and China joined together to learn, exchange knowledge, and seek ways to secure a better future for our planet.

This pilot Climate Ready Classrooms project represents the culmination of over two years’ work between Scotland’s National Centre for Languages, the Confucius Institute for Scotland’s Schools, Tianjin Municipal Education Commission and Keep Scotland Beautiful. Utilising a multi-disciplinary approach that combines language learning, science, IT, and cross-cultural communication, discover a project that empowers students to learn on a global scale.
