Have you ever wondered where your clothes come from? And the wider impact of fashion on the climate crisis? Interested in learning about the future of the sustainable fashion industry?
In collaboration with The Prince’s Foundation and Fashion Council Germany, UK-German Connection will be giving 40 pupils from the UK and Germany the chance to go behind the scenes of the fashion industry and explore what the future of textiles could look like.
Across five days in Scotland, participants will take part in a range of workshops covering handcraft skills, sustainable practice and cultural exchange and will also have the chance to be part of a wider conference where brands and designers will provide industry insights.
Aimed at 14-18 year olds, the seminar will be held 21-26 October in Scotland. German language skills are not required to take part in the youth seminar. Some German language elements may be included but you don’t need any prior knowledge and/or translations will be provided.
