We are delighted to invite you to the first event in our Living Languages Series 2023 on Tuesday 31 January at 6pm.

For this event, we welcome Richard Mowe, director of the French film festival UK and of the Italian film festival UK, and Sylvia Davidson, short film curator and translator for the French film festival UK.

The Living Languages series offers the opportunity to hear from high-profile guests, from a variety of sectors, talking about the role languages have played, and continue to play, in their professional and personal lives. The relaxed conversation format will enable our guests to share their experiences and allow you to ask questions. The series in run in partnership between SCILT and the School of Humanities at the University of Strathclyde.
