The Stand Out in a Global Market event series inspires young people to kick start their careers by gaining experience abroad. Free one-day events are held around the country and are open to 16-18 year olds. The events demonstrate the range of opportunities available, from vocational courses to studying or volunteering abroad.

Attendees are able to get advice on what it’s really like from other young people who have already been abroad. At the same time they hear from employers on what they look for in graduates to compete globally. Gap year companies, universities and volunteer organisations are also on hand to guide students towards the opportunity which may be right for them.
