This online Knowledge Exchange event, hosted by SCILT, aims to explore the ways in which primary and secondary schools in Scotland are incorporating L3 into the curriculum, and identify some of the challenges it poses.
Keynote speaker, Joanna McPake, Reader in Education at the University of Strathclyde will talk us through the benefits of combining the teaching of L3 and the incorporation of L3 learning into interdisciplinary projects in relation to the 1+2 policy. Further themed sessions will be led by various speakers, giving participants the opportunity to engage in professional dialogue with colleagues.
The event is free and open to Primary and Secondary Practitioners, Language Leads, PTs, Faculty Heads, Local Authority Development Officers and School Leaders.
The event will take place on Zoom.
