UK LINGUA 2022: Multilingual Language Learning and Teaching Colloquium

Event Date: 23/04/2022 - 24/04/2022

The theme for this year's conference is Adapting to Change.

Change can be positive, a way of progressing towards something better; and adapting to change has echoes of the Theory of Evolution (only those that are able to adapt to new contexts will survive!).

However, adapting does not necessarily mean that we have to discard the old, the traditional or the well-tested ways. Now that we are moving towards a new normal way of life, it is a good time to reflect on how we can best make use of both - the traditional and the more innovative methods of teaching and learning languages.

The sixth UK Lingua Annual conference will take place on 23 and 24 April 2022 at Durham University. Aimed at MFL and ESL teachers and researchers at all educational levels (primary, secondary, university, languages for all) UK LINGUA is a forum for the exchange of ideas, theories and practices, enhancing scholarship and teaching excellence in this field.
