SALT Conference 2024 - Open for Proposals

Venue: Glasgow

Event Date: 02/11/2024 10:00 - 13:30

This year's Scottish Association for Language Teaching (SALT) conference will take place entirely in person on 2 November at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.

We are delighted to let you know that the proposals form for this year's conference is now open!

We invite teachers and practitioners from all backgrounds to submit workshop proposals for the conference. This year's event will have a focus of the things we are all doing to put languages back on the map in our settings. We would love to hear from anyone - primary, secondary or further/higher education - who is developing strategies to help languages thrive where they are. Workshops can last either 50 minutes or 25 minutes and can be as simple as sharing a few ideas with colleagues about what works for you.

Please submit your workshop proposal by Friday 6 September 2024.

If you have any questions about the conference, or if you would like to know more about running a session before filling in the form, please get in touch with the SALT Chair, Andrew McCulloch, at andrewmccullochsalt@gmail.com.
