Have you ever wondered about a career in translation? Are you curious about what being an interpreter might entail? This event is for you!
Routes into Languages is delighted to invite Key Stage 4, sixth-form, undergraduate and postgraduate students from across the region and beyond to Meet the Translators and Interpreters on Wednesday 10 February 2016, hosted in collaboration with the School of Modern Languages at Newcastle University.
The day will begin with keynote presentations from Directors of the National Networks for Interpreting and Translation, Helen Campbell and Professor Myriam Salama-Carr, and from Brian Fox, Directorate-General for Interpretation at the European Commission.
